The picture on the right is of a historic stone wall.  The wall exists on the slope of
a large granite hill.  The location is remote, and the purpose of the wall is
unknown.
It is my theory that the wall was used to slow down or divert the run off of water
from the hill. Beneath the hill is a small stream.
